Cross Country Rider Summary: One of the funnest singletracks around. There are a bunch of routes from the top of American Fork Canyon. If you shuttle the bikes to the top there is very little uphill to ride. 4 easy climbs along the ridge before you get to Tibble Fork. The 3rd climb is the longest but not very steep.
The downhill on this trail is like a luge track. The trail windes through the forest. Small burms through the turns with fun roots and rocks to launch and ride off of. It can accomodate high speed descents. Big suspension isn't really necessary as the trail is pretty smooth. 3"-4" of travel is plenty. I can't wait to ride it again.
WATCH OUT FOR MOTORCYCLES RIDING UP! Recommended Route: Ride the trail in reverse for exercise, shuttle bikes to the top of the canyon for fun.

Cross Country Rider Summary: This is probably the funnest 3 miles of trail you'll ever ride!!! IF you ride it as a downhill.
You could ride it as an out and back from the Tibble Fork dam, but it would be a tough climb.
The aerobic rating is for the Ridge 157 ride to the top of Tibble Fork. Climbing this trail would rate at least a 5. Recommended Route: Its best to start from the Ridge 157 trail and ride it as a downhill. You can position a shuttle vehicle so you don't have to climb this trail, or the roads leading to the Ridge 157 trail. Other recommended trails in the same area: Mud Springs, Timpanooke, Ridge 157, Deer Creek South Fork, Mill Canyon, the list goes on and on!
