Stump Hollow

Climb the highway to the summit and turn right onto a forest service road. Follow for 2 miles until you see a sign for Peter's Sink. Turn right. follow 4wd dirt road up a series of steep climbs to Peter's Sink. Ride thru Peter's Sink (This part sucks) to the very top of Stump Hollow. Ride singletrack all the way back down to the car. The whoop-de-doos at the end make it worthwhile.

Summary:
Just rode it again. And I had to come back and re-rate it. It's fantastic. I think it's a pretty good out and back if you are a good hill climber, but i prefer the loop. It needs a few more logs cleared before the motorcycles chew away the rest of the trail cutting around them.

Recommended Route:
Up the dirt roads right/South of the main highway (Amazon Hollow). Avoid the traffic!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
White Pine, Jardine Juniper
