Cross Country Rider Summary: Every time I ride this system I wonder why I don't more. There is not a huge number of trails, but the ones there are are quality. They are not rutted out like so many other lift accessed trails. They are not too rocky with just enough roots, drop, etc, to make them interesting. And just like the skiing, the place almost always feels empty. Rode just the other day mid-week and saw 2 other people. I'd give 5 if there were more trails. Maybe after they open the new one! Recommended Route: Up serenity then up canyon toward summit chair via two track to join "kruzer?" and down. Other recommended trails in the same area: Wasach crest and Park City (avoid construction in deer valley)

Cross Country Rider Summary: An alright trail system, but not the best. I rode it in the middle of summer, so it was pretty dry, and thick with dust. Trails seemed overused, and about 2 miles into my ride, I busted up a couple of rings. Seemed intermediate-advanced technical, plenty of rocks, roots, and skinny singletrack. An "ok" trail system, but I wouldn't go out of my way to ride it. Other recommended trails in the same area: Wasatch Crest

, from SLC Summary: Sweet single track a few nice hits and your are on your way. Great intermediate climb, a few techinical down hill sections keeps it interesting for all abilities. Please no yelling at the moose or dear the moose will charge you and stomp on your head harder than you stomp on your pedals. Recommended Route: Park at first or lower parking lot, (the upper is under construction). Climb the 1/2 paved route up under moonbeem lift. Upon reaching the upper lodge with red roof traverse the resort on double track and then up up another 300 ft climb, past a lift base on your far left. Than up another 500 ft climb to a semi level medow with a single track across a small meadow to a 40 foot steep climb than take a left on/down kruzer trail. Other recommended trails in the same area: park city

, from Salt Lake City Summary: This ride is not for novice. Depending on the route you take up it can be aerobic and steep at times. the downhills are a blast, especially after the rain when the trail has a little moisture in the ground... Recommended Route: Park at the upper parking lot. Solitude has some fun areas to trial before the ride. Take the cruzer trail to the top. From the upper parking lot you need to take the paved trail past all the lodges to the small lift at the bottom of the hill. You can climb the paved trail all the way to the top or peel off onto the single track that heads toward the lower parking lot. Right before you get to the bottom or lower parking lot, the trail peels south and begins to climb. Fun trail to the mid mountain lodge. Keep heading up when you reach the paved trail. From the mid mountain take the fire road up past the summit ski lift until you see the single track peel off to the left at the top of several steep climbs.. 95% of the traffic is headed this way. From this point there are several routes down, or you can take the trails to Brighton ski resort-just keep going right at every intersection after the first. At the first go left.. Beautiful views of twin lakes and the area. Other recommended trails in the same area: lots

, from SLC, Utah Summary: This trail takes you through the trees, so it doesn't get too hot. The rocks and roots are what make it so fun. Upper-intermediate technical. This is my favorite trail along the Wasatch Front. The downhill is pretty bumpy, but that's why it's so freaking rad. Kind of short, but this is what I picture mountain biking to be. Recommended Route: Park in the lowest Solitude Resort parking lot up Big Cottonwood Canyon. Other recommended trails in the same area: Bobsled, BST
