Summary:
Most insane trail I have ever hiked down.. Great for DHers with solid, I mean solid skillz, its on the edge, the whole trail, many crazy line options, you wont be bored, most likely schooled.. Check out bikerag.com for pics and a sketched map - GPS died on me, probably a sign from above.. Dont even bother with this place unless you and everyone your riding with has good judgement..

Recommended Route:
Down.. As stated, any way you can get down alive, I slid on my but for a couple sections.. REally.. And I dont even suck..

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Gooseberry, grafton mesa - ride grafton first agreed with previose poster

Summary:
The above reviews are right on. This will open your eyes as to 'what is hard'. Do wear a full face helmet. Even Bender (our guide) wore his. Wear as much body armor as you can afford.

Recommended Route:
There are other lines along the route. King Kong is one of them. Be prepared to huck, as its part of the trail. Even the tame version of this goes beyond the technical difficulty rating in mtbr.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
There is a new trail near Flying Monkey. Very hard to find, but it's a little more tame than the monkey. Ask Bender in Virgin to guide you on this brand new trail (I think I was the 9th one to ride it)... it went in late Jan 04.

Summary:
I just rode the flying monkey trail ON MY 8 YEAR OLD BROTHERS TRICYCLE, and I is the easiest thing I have ever done. I guess I can say that the drops were cool, if you consider riding off the street curb at the end of the trail cool. I recomend this trail to anyone past the training wheel stage. Safe and fun for whole family. After participating in the Red Bull Rampage I honestly have to say this is the scariest, most technical, and by far the most SPIRITUAL course I have ever ridden. Amen

Recommended Route:
If you don't want to go off the street curb at the end of the trail, I recommend testing you skills on the golf course nearby. One of my favorite conviences about this trail is the traingwheel rentals place located at the top of the trail. Very popular road biking trail where mountain bikes are the exception.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Red Bull Rampage course(novice), Jacks swimming pool, Lindsey Leaps, Drakes Drops, Cabinet maker, Zion's Angel Landing downhill course

Summary:
This trail is by far the most technical trail I've ridden. Period. It is pure evil, if you ask me. I thought I was good, now I don't know what to call myself, and I was taking the wussy lines! Seriously, anyone that is craving a challenge here it is, cause this trail is just impossible. It can be a little frustrating sometimes though, at least for me, cause I had to dab so freakin much. Oh well, maybe I'll eventually ride the whole thing. Wear lots of body armor, and don't think your bike will come out unscathed.

Recommended Route:
top to bottom works pretty well; I suggest going with somebody who knows the way, since there's a maze of fireroads before and after the trail

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Grafton Mesa, Gooseberry, Red Bull Rampage course
