City Creek dirt jumps
2 reviews
 5 of 5

This first zone is the bigger section of doubles. You can also head downhill on a couple trails to a set of fun small-to-medium doubles, about 200-feet down the hillside. These are just above the actual City Creek trailhead--you can scare all the XC guys sweating their brains out as you huck the dirt jumps right at them.

Trail Directions
Head up I street in the Avenues to the top, then veer left. Follow residential street around until you reach the big LDS (Mormon) church (ward) on your left. Go just past it and look for a turn-in little gravel parking lot on your left. Park there, go through the gate. Hug the huge flat water tank thing and drop in to your left into the first dirt jump section.

Summary:
These dirt jumps are so fun. I go to them every day. I can do a few of them. Most of the jumps have names like: Fattie, lefty, 2nd lefty, 5 foot drop, wood drop, the rythms, 13 foot drop, gully gap ( a 30 foot ravine gap)... Its super awsome.

Recommended Route:
Go up Virginia street, and then turn left onto 11th ave. (above the cemetary) keep going to Terrace Hills Drive. Go to North Bonneview Drive, and turn LEFT. Keep going until you get to a small street before the Mormon church with a gravely ground. Go past the gate, and hang an easy left past the water jug. There you will find lefty on the left, and fattie in the middle, and the rythms on the right. There are things everywhere, so follow all the little paths you see.
