Whitewater Tanasi

I created a new review page for this trail since with all the improvements, it deserves a much higher score!!! Description: There is a smooth but steepish climb of about a mile before you start to see side loops. The loops are single track, with Forest Service roads connecting all the loops. There are several stretches of long climbs (mainly on the FS Roads) but the payoff is SKA-REEMIN' downhills. A map is a must. The White Water Center has maps, and a good one is also available at: www.chattbike.com

Summary:
This is one of the best all around trails. If you do the "expert/racing" route, you will have everything from screaming downhills to lung busting up hills. After the ride, chill out in the river.

Recommended Route:
Go to www.chattbike.com and download the ride descriptions. Rides for all levels

Summary:
This has something for everyone; long climbs, long descents, technical single track, fast single track etc... Just park at the Ocoee White Water Center, cross the upper bridge and go left. Take all the loops! They are all great!!!

Recommended Route:
There are sooo many single track loops now, that its best to get a map and explore everything you have the time and legs for.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Chillhowee (Ocoee on this website).
