Very technical and pretty darn fast if you know where to go. Obviously built by fellow bikers. Just ask a local bike shop if you dont know where to go.

Summary:
Jeffrey was correct in his post that is closed to Mtn Bikers. I have ridden this weekly for over 4 years, and I have never seen a hunter or hiker out there. I do occasionally see four-wheelers and and other Mtn bikers. I even ride with some folks that belong to the Chick Creek Conservancy, who know the place is closed to riders. We need to park near Boston Branch and stay away from the residential areas. This trail complex is awesome.

Recommended Route:
Counter clockwise. Start near Boston Branch, go down the power lines, pick up single track all the way to Blood Rock. Head back along the ridge cut to Chic Creek overlook, then the Chic Creek Double Loop. Back up the power lines to the single track you came in on near Boston Branch.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Raccoon Mountain, Pinkies, Harrison Bay, Morning Wood

Summary:
Alot of water has flowed under Sawyer Bridge since the 2001 trail debacle that closed this amazing system of single track. It truely is a shame that the builders of these trails go unrecognized and the trails they worked so hard on go unapreciated and rarely explored. I live 10 min from this system and have ridden all over the country. I can say with out a doubt that this is truly a regional gem. Kept obscure and remains unknown due to the decisions and judgements of a few. Now, I know, its no Moab or Pisgah. But that speed and technical bliss that ensues once you set tires on this trails will make you forget your on the Darkside of Signal Mtn... oversteping the "Land Managers Mandates". Ride hard and tip your hat to hunters, for they rule this kingdom.

Recommended Route:
Boston Branch Trail Head. Roberts mill to Hixson Springs. Follow Hixson springs until you reach a forest service parking lot across from Standing Rock Rd. Park here. Lot can be seen on google earth. Ride out of lot and turn left, ride on road for 1000ft(ish) until you see tail on your right. There is a double track and single track option off this road. The double is more obvious and is just before you hit the Boston Branch gate.

Please note the Review from 2003. The area is closed to bikers and the only way we will successfully open the trail again is to not poach them while they are off limits. please refrain from riding there and help work on changing their status, SORBA Chattanooga would be a good resource in helping with this.

Summary:
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but despite the recommendation of the North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy and a letter writting campaign headed by the Chattanooga Bike Club and local bike shops, the area is now closed to mountain biking. The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation declared Robert's Mill a wildlife management area and is now closed to all but hikers and hunters. They stated that they are going to patrol the area and issue tickets and even impound the bikes of riders caught on the trails.
