Summary:
The Watershed Mtn Bike Trail system is a very nice small network of trails in Hampton, TN. There are 5 miles of nicely constructed trails for all ability levels. The Pines and The River Loops are beginner to intermediate, and the Cat's Pajamas is the advanced climb and descent. There are additions and reroutes being built all the time. THE WATERSHED IS WORTH CHECKING OUT!!

Recommended Route:
Ride it counterclockwise. Brian @ nearby Hampton Trails Bike Shop can help give you information. There is a Map at the Trailhead on 1st ave.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Lacy Trap, Coon Den, parts of Laurel Fork, and Bitterend Rd in the Dennis Cove Recreation Area.

Trails and Fire Roads on Holston Mtn.

Pinnacle Tower Trail and Buffalo Mtn.

Summary:
This trail is awesome if you're looking for a little bit of everything. The Loop you start out on is beginner, and is a good warm up for the intermediate and expert trails to come. The intermediate trail is scenic and fun. The trail that goes to the top of the mountain, the Cat's pajamas, will test riders of any ability. It has big drops and nice technical features. At the top of the mountain there is a great place to rest and view the Doe river Gorge. All and all this is a great trail system with diverse technical sections combined with great aesthetics.

Recommended Route:
Counter clockwise is the way to go.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Coon Den, Lacy Trap
