Summary:
Access to these trails is much more difficult now. The power line access from Hunter Middle School is posted NO BIKES. Subdivision encroachment has eliminated parts of the dirt road. Access into the TNT area is now blocked with a locked gate and multiple warning signs. If you can find a way in it might be worth riding but I didn't enjoy my attempt today.

Recommended Route:
Same as above

Summary:
I've ridden these trails since '92 (started on a fully rigid bike) and haven't grown tired of them yet! If you're looking for lush single track through the woods...this ain't it. If you want a hard workout and only have an hour...this will do it. Fast downhills and tough climbs, and hot and sunny in summer. You can spend several hours out here taking different paths, but they will all have lots of hills. Some say its not technical...well, you try rolling down 12-15% grade on rocky, rutted hardpack to be faced with the same on the way up as soon as you hit the bottom. Runners in the area have a name for these trails..."Not for the Young"...and with good reason. Wimps need not apply.

Recommended Route:
all over

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Chestnut and Chilhowie (?) mountains at Ocoee.

Summary:
These are okay trails to ride if you are completely tired of the other trails in the Chattanooga area. I like to start the trails from Bonny Oaks across from the Redoubt soccer field. This way you can avoid the boring ride along the power lines. There is nothing but hills to ride, and there are some great jumps if you don't mind living on the edge. Some of the jumps are really dangerous because of the rough trails and the big rocks lying around. There are a couple of jumps where you can get some serious air, but don't complain to me when you break something.

Recommended Route:
Start from Bonny Oaks, right across from the Redoubt soccer field parking lot. From the gravel road across the parking lot, turn left before you get to the small underpass.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Edward's Point, Prentice Cooper, Pigeon Mtn., my back yard

Summary:
This trail, as I have known it, is also known as TNT. It is a blast of a trail. I usally start from the intrance in Flagstone. There is an old pond back in the woods that has some awesome things to jump and play around on! The riding is fast and furious. One of my friends took me out there when I was just learning to ride, and it scared me to death! The decents under the power lines are great (25-35 mph!), and there are some awesome jumps if you have the balls to hit em'. The trail has many routes and can be ridden many different ways. The only caution that I have would be to watch out in the summer. When there is no rain for a long time it gets really dusty. Have fun!

Recommended Route:
Same as above.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Prentice Cooper, Edwards Point, Mabbit Springs, Ocoee, nad others that I can't think of right now
