Ridden Trail: Every few months

Weekend Warrior Summary: Trail is in pretty good shape right now. It has a recent addition bringing it up to around 7 miles. Go down and behind the dam on the right and then stay right for the added distance. Nice ride with lots of opportunities to go fast. A few logs to ride around, or over, might slow some down. A few jumps or climb down areas to deal with as well. I haven't noticed much poison ivy on the trails (use germ-x on exposed skin as soon as I'm done just to be safe). Watch out for ticks though, bad this year. Recommended Route: Start off down the dam or behind it on the right. Want more trail, stay right. Want less, stay left. Other recommended trails in the same area: IH Managerial Park, Tour de Wolf (Shelby Farms)

Weekend Warrior Summary: Overall, a good trail to ride. We rode the trail for about six miles. The trail has a lot of poison ivy and roots, and a lot of moderate inclines and twists. About a 20 minute ride from the Memphis City Limit. The trail is cut back in most places, although i still got poison ivy, and the roots are marked with yellow paint in the beginning. If you like a bunch of curves, you'll like this dirt trail. Recommended Route: We rode counter-clockwise from the parking lot, but do not have a preference. Other recommended trails in the same area: Wolf River Trails, Germantown Greenbelt

Cross Country Rider Summary: we are ODD out of okc and we need a ride going through the memphis area. the three of us hit this trail and rode it both ways, teh trail.I think one would get fairly fast after a couple of laps and getting the rythem of the place. The place is nice and clean and nice views of the lake- you just float around on a carpet of pine needles about thirteen miles if ridden both directions. A local bike store worked said this is his hfav in the m-town area.
ride on.
