This is a fast and fun ride, composed of tight single track and fast fire roads. Located on Arnold Airforce Base, this trail offers some of middle tennessee's best. recommended for single speeds and hard tails.

Summary:
This is a really nice place to ride (very XC).
Lots of miles, enough to get in a ride and nothing too challenging.
It does have an interesting mix of terrain.
No big climbs, just lots of little rollers.
Plenty of deer munching & snorting when I popped out & surpised them.

Recommended Route:
Start from left & go clockwise & follow the trail numbers.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Fall Creek Falls has a nice trail kind of close by

Summary:
This trai is a 14 mile loop, all fun, ranging from tight turns through the woods to fast straights on old roads, there is a section along the lake and a section named "Bob's Trail" with 10 short hill climbs in 2.3 miles.

Recommended Route:
Start at the trail head parking lot, the "AEDC Saddle Club" lot. Ride out pass the "MTR TRAIL" bulletin board. In 50 yards the trail forks, you can ride either direction, but the left fork, clock-wise, has numbers on trees that are in sequence. There is a standing Tuesday morning ride at 08:00, usually 4-8 riders, ride time around 1 hour 30 minutes.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
The Perimeter Trail at Sewanee, the race course at St. Andrews-Sewnee, Franklin-Marion State Forest.
