Cross Country Rider Summary: Pioneer Trail has seen some loving in the last few months. The overgrown (and painful) brambles are temporarily gone- and should be OK until next spring.

Weekend Warrior Summary: There is some good riding at Panther. There are also some trails that need some much past due work. I use to live in Morristown and the trails have been the same way since I can remember. Get a map just to have one, but it won't do you a whole lot of good. When my wife and I rode the pioneer trail, we thought we were in the amazon. It look like the trail hadn't been maintained since the days of the pioneers. Having said that there are some good aerobic accents and some fast single track decents. Not bad overall riding. Recommended Route: Anyway you can read the map! Good luck! Other recommended trails in the same area: None comparable that are close to the area.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Panther Creek State Park Trails are awesome!!!! All of the trails are well groomed and there's lots of wild life everywhere. There's easy areas of the trail system and also some very technical stuff that some expert riders may not be able to navigate (i.e. rock face). These trails have something for everyone. Recommended Route: The whole damn thing!!!!

Cross Country Rider Summary: My girlfriend and I rode the panther creek trails fall of 2003. TN should be proud to have this beatuiful park. The trail system is well maintained and during our Saturday on the trails we only seen one other biker. The park offers maps which can be obtained at the vistors center. As a whole the trails are fun to ride with no major technical sections.

Weekend Warrior Summary: PantherCreek has a plethera of trails to ride although now the fun stuff is on the lake-bottoms now that they have drained the lake, the soft dirt and the rocks make for all around fun riding. I ride with my buddies at least twice a week pioneer and trout lilly are my favorite though, watch for deer and turkey they are everywhere this time if year. It is beautiful land especially with the changing leaves. Oh yeah, the bridge on trout lilly is finished and fully-functional.
