I hear there is a loop around the lake, but that there are many other trails there as well. Wondering if anyone has been there recently to give a better review than I can. I am planning to go there and wanted and update

Summary:
I camp at Indian Boundary a lot and I love it. The trails are great!! I'm not an experienced biker and it was simple enough for me but there were plenty of experienced riders that loved it just as much. I usually go around 3 or 4 times a day when camping. Some of the off trails are fun...I've not wandered off on many of them. The last time I was there, a bear had decided to grace us with her presence so I stuck to the beaten path!

Recommended Route:
The Lake loop

Summary:
I ride in this area often especially in the Winter. We generally start at the first campsite in the Citigo area. This a great winter training area. Mostly fireroads with forest trails everywhere. There are more than 70 miles of hardpacked gravel roads with varying terrain. Far Gap offers a big 6 mile climb with a fast descent of equal length. The roads stay fairly dry in the winter if you need a mtn bike fix and your area trails are wet and nasty. I generally do a 50+ mile loop from Citigo to Indian Boundary and back. There is also a 12 mile climb off of River Road to Green Cove. The road is called North River Road and climbs up to the Cherohala Skyway. There are many fireroads in the area to check out.

Recommended Route:
The singletrack around Indian Boundary Lake is approximately 3 miles in length. It is a flat gravel/dirt trail with no climbing. It is a trail for all skill levels with no real teachnical challenges.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
There are many trails and fireroads in the Cherokee National Forest. Check with the forest service to find out which trails are off limits to mtn bikers.

Summary:
Indian boundary is a nice little park, although it's a bit of a drive from where I live. The loop is fairly short, so I would recommend you do the trail if you're up there for the weekend camping or something (nice place to do it). The trail itself is cake, but it does have some really fun parts and nice views. If you're needing technical, look elsewhere. But for a easy, scenic route, this place is great.

Recommended Route:
Just go around the loop!

Summary:
I really enjoy this trail. I've rode it several times w/ my wife. Its great for her because its not to difficult. Its also fun with other advanced riders because you can get some good speed up. My friend and I did a 3 lap race around it and then jumped in the lake to cool off afterwards.

Recommended Route:
SAME AS ABOVE
