Bartlett Trail

Single track through thick woods. You will cross over a stream 2 times. First time, your bike has to be carried and there is a new bridge for the second crossing. Trail has plenty of hills to climb and decend. There have been quite a few races held on this trail.

Summary:
The best trail in town. It is a multi-use trail so watch for hikers & trail runners. I like fast, tight single track & this trail helps feed my addiction for dirt. there was even some stunts (for lack of a better term) near the trailhead, i guess someone has North Shore fever...but they are always broke & ghetto. Keep the single track SINGLE!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Fruit Loops (the best anywhere near Memphis), Clear Creek a very close 2nd.

Summary:
the overall difficulty is low by my standards, but i cant ask for too much when the whole city is flat.
i think the best trails were parts of the tour de woulf. herb parsons is ok for a hiking trail/bike trailbut it was wayyyy muddy when we went there.

Recommended Route:
doing it counterclockwise is the best way to do it
starting with the white trail.

Other recommended trails in the same area:

Summary:
It is the best trail near Memphis because of the dificulty and length, and it is all single track.

Recommended Route:
Just ride it, either way is fun, I usually ride it counter clockwise.
