Summary:
I rode this trail two summers ago, like previous post, it is ski trails. There is mianly one technical section,on all areas we rode based on abilty. It was fun, for my cousin who is beginner and my bro in law liked it ok...hills are gentle and rolloing maily till you go back to the car... steep bugger there... Trial for novice to intermediate I believe...

Summary:
the eagle cliff trail system is a series of cross country ski trails, which i didnt realize until i got there.you start out on wide open fire road but are soon rewarded with some grarly single track.the elevation is from 5760-6520 ft.so when i went in early october it had a few inches of snow on it.the traiil wes pretty wet in the shade and dry in the sun.which leads back to gnarly single track.in perfect conditions the switchbacks would have been quite easilly handled, but with the fresh snow it was great and very wet and rooty. the fire roads are all fun, especially the final section back to the trail head which is very fast.the trail markings from dead ox spring were notfond so i followed a cow trail back to a road so look carefully for it.honestly i would not have gone to these trails if id known they were for cross country skiing, but the singletrack is a gas and is pretty technical.

Recommended Route:
i picked up a map and headed to all of the difficult level trails
