Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Weekend Warrior Summary: If it weren't for the horses, this trail would be real nice. But I can't complain too much, since it is billed as a horse trail! Probably not worth making a trip there to ride it, but if it's close to home, it's worthwhile. The scenery is nice and there are several creek crossings that are neat (not all have easy ways across :) and there are some pretty steep uphills. But there were so many spots that were muddy horse-hoof bogs almost 6 inches deep; they made the riding difficult. Recommended Route: Parking is at the trailhead; $3 fee.
We rode the green, red, then blue trails. The red trail has a really tough uphill after the creek; the blue trail has a creek crossing that can't really be ridden over due to the horses - so you'll need to probably get creative or get wet. Other recommended trails in the same area: Lynches Woods
