Cross Country Rider Summary: There are more miles than what has been reviewed. Go to gcmbc.com and check out the trail maps. I ride here one to two times a week and usually ride from the Doyle Bottom end ( more parking, less traffic, no horses )and ride that section,
( only on Sunday during hunting season because there is no hunting on Sunday ), and ride to the Parking Lot area trails. From there you can ride all during the week because no hunting. You can take Dalton Road or go the Dam Trail. From that area there are multiple trails to ride. Just watch out for the horse bombs. Back towards Doyle Bottom off of Old Six Mile road on the left, look for a singletrack that goes up and to the Waterfalls Trail area. There are miles and miles of trails at Issaqueena, you just have to find them or get a trail map. Recommended Route: Whichever way you want to go is good.

, from Clemson, SC Summary: Oops. Recommended Route: Oops, the trail I was thinking of is called the Lawrence Trail. Dalton Rd. is not this fun.

, from Clemson,SC Summary: FUN FUN FUN. There's much more riding here but this is a great intro. Do your research and you've got 25 or so miles of mostly single track. Alternatively, from the parking lot go down Issaqueena Dam Rd. about 50 yds. to the head of "collar bone" 3 or 4 good jumps here. Be careful! Keep going straight to lake trail or left at Dalton to second half of above ride. Recommended Route: This is all part of Clemson University's Issaqueena Forest area. Park just off of Old Six Mile Rd. about 1/2 to 3/4 mi. from Ma's Grocery. From the horseshoe parking lot there are two ways down -- the best being right in the middle of the horseshoe. Single track. Down keep going straight. Soon after a quick steep kinda technical section followed by stone steps hang a left. Keep going a ways, crossing a bridge and a few streams, keep going straight until you get to a reddish clay dirt road (there's a tricky little bank on to the road that you can hit pretty hard.) Go right (downhill) a while. Pretty fast. Get ready to hop a decent sized branch. Trail detours and snakes down hillside to start of lake trail. Other recommended trails in the same area: Good for all abilities. All downhill or flat until return up Dam Rd. (2 miles gradual.)
