Beaver Run @ Hickory Knob SP

This is an out/back trail that starts at the lodge and goes to the skeet range. It is all singletrack, with little technical challenge, little climbing, but lots of twisty turns and full of big fun. A great beginner ride, but fun for everyone.

Summary:
This is a great trail for anyone i think. it has a few tight trees here and there and get lots of speed in certain areas! great for beginners like me! i also seen alot of deer i just about hit one if it wasn't for my good brakes! I think the trail could use some extra markings on the trees. I like the downhill quick turns that i came up on they were pretty quick. there were 2 trees down on the trail one u had do go over and the other one u had to go aroudn but all in all this trail is great i will be goin back.

Recommended Route:
start at the parking lot.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
the other 2 trails at hickory knob and bakers creek.

Summary:
This is a killer trail in great shape. Very fast with some tight turns here and there. Easy to ride and would be great for a beginner.

Recommended Route:
Either way, but usually start on the Skeet Range end.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Must ride the lakeview loop and turkey ridge loop while in the park. Mix and match to get whatever mileage you desire.

Summary:
Awesome trail. Really is fun to ride for all abilities. Can go really fast, or can just putt along. Great trail for begginers to learn to ride on. Very little techical challenge. Great trail to see wildlife as it is near a section of the lake. It is a shame so many come to ride in this park and never get on this trail!

Recommended Route:
Start at lodge. Ride to skeet range. Ride pavement to barn to ride the other trails in the park.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Lakeview Loop and Turkey Ridge Loops - Hickory Knob SP. Modoc, Turke Creek, Wine Creek.

Summary:
We tag this trail in with the other 2 trails at Hickory Knob. Prefer to use it to warm up on or cool down on. If you love to twist around in the beautiful S.C. woods then this is one of the many places to be. Any skill level will love this trail. Also don't miss out on the homade cobblers in the lodge for supper after a 22 mile ride by doing it all both ways on all 3 sections.
