Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Cross Country Rider Summary: I finally got out to this trail and it was a pleasant surprise. There was little to no sand and the trail itself was very dry with only one spot of mud to be found. It cracked me up to see signs denoting an approaching climb or some "special" portion of the trail (like "Kamikaze"). This trail is designed with keeping the traffic moving along in an orderly manner as you are asked to ride the main trail out to Campbell's Pond and the ride the low trail on your return. Although this is an out and back, the beauty of Campbell's Pond made the ride worth it. This would be a good trail for beginners and seasoned veterans alike. I rode two days after a soaking rain and the trail was bone dry! Recommended Route: Out and back. I also went down the portion of the Palmetto Trail that was connected to this trail to tack on some extra miles.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Though this is a nice trail, I wasn't really impressed with it. There really isn't much to it. I'm not saying it's not worth riding, just that I wouldn't drive all the way there just to ride it. Combine it with a loop around K3 and you have a nice 20-23 mile day. Neither Campbell's Pond or K3 will make you work really hard (hey, there just isn't much elevation change in the area). Nice trail, just don't get your hope's up too high. Other recommended trails in the same area: K3

, from beaver falls, pa usa Summary: What a great trail. Fun, fast, with some short tricky climbs to give you a workout. It is the best trail in the Manchester/poinsette (?) trail system. Alot of tight turns with some squeekers in between tree's. Hats off to whoever designed the trail. ONe of the best in the Columbia area Recommended Route: The one posted here Other recommended trails in the same area: Harbison (lost creek and spider woman), Lynches woods, but it needs some maintenance in a major way

Cross Country Rider Summary: This is a new trail that can be ridden even after a rain. It is one of the best trails in the area and has been done right...not too hard but not too easy. Recommended Route: Just follow the signs. Other recommended trails in the same area: K-3, from the same parking area.
