Ridden Trail: Once a month

Weekend Warrior Summary: Out and back that follows Leesburg road. Nothing to special here, a few minor climbs and some twisting and turning. The trail also goes for a litte way into the fort but then it becomes sidewalks. I find parts of this trail difficult to follow due to low use and lots of pinestraw on the trail. This trail does get bonus points though for being only a 5 minute drive from my front door. Recommended Route: Find a spot along Leesburg to get on it and go, I think its about 15 miles one way. Other recommended trails in the same area: Harbison, K3

Ridden Trail: Please Select

Reviewed by: Jackie Jamenson Summary: Just as Jason from Cola explains - it's HARD and FAST. I rode w/ Jason one day and he is an animal. Everything he suggest is correct except the side trail He and I took for our own rough riding!!!! Watch out for this trail and Jason. If he asks for extra Lube just say NO - He will break your bottom bracket. His blue eyes will distract you from the trail. I give the trail 2 tires and Jason a limp one! Recommended Route: I go both ways!!

, from Cola. Summary: This is a great trail for beginners or those who just like to get out for descent workout. There is very little elevation change, but you do get a few short downhills along with some gradual climbs to keep it interesting. Wish something could be done about all the sadn, although it really doesn't affect your ride except on the fire road crossings. The scenery is nothing to brag about, and there are no creeks or water to speak of. The singletrack sections can be fun if you ride them hard enough. Overall this is a fun track and its only 4 miles from my house (a big plus). Go try it atleast once. Recommended Route: Start at Gate#5 and ride parrellel to Leesburg Rd. Other recommended trails in the same area: Harbison, Lynches Woods
