Weekend Warrior Summary: Very enjoyable ride! The 5.7 mile loop is a bit bumpy at times, but a great quick ride and good workout. Recommended Route: CW or CCW, it'll be a great ride. CCW seems to have less of a climb overall, but still throws a few in there. Other recommended trails in the same area: the FATS trail system

Cross Country Rider Summary: Six mile loop of single track. This trail goes through hardwoods and pines, and contains some pretty good downhills as well as pretty decent climbing. Quite a few roots and a couple rocks. This trail gets consistent trail maintenance through the local SORBA chapter (CSRA) and stays rideable year round.
If it has rained recently, give this trail 48 hours. It dries pretty quickly. Recommended Route: The most popular way to ride it would be CW. Other recommended trails in the same area: Baker Creek SP, Hickory Knob SP, Turkey and Wine. Soon we will have the grand opening of a new 17 mile loop called FATS.

Cross Country Rider Summary: This is a great trail. Not too technical but it does have a lot of roots and a pretty long, solid climb. The ascent is followed by a very fast downhill where I "wiped the f@ck" out big-time on my first attempt - I was going too fast. Anyways, it's a nice little loop of about 6 miles, can be ridden in either direction but I've only done it starting on the left side. Rode it at a SORBA event after riding Modoc for the first time. Other recommended trails in the same area: HKSP, Turkey, Wine, Canal Singletrack, Bartram Lake, Modoc

Cross Country Rider Summary: Fast fast fast. Damn this trail is fast! 6 mile singtrack with some nice short climbs and decents. All the work done is wonderful. Mowed, anti-slip placed on the bridges and a few re-routes that are now about a year old and settling in nicely. Recommended Route: I like clcokwise better. Other recommended trails in the same area: www.sorbacsra.org for a list/map of them all.

, from gwd Summary: Like Tom below, just rode this trail for the first time in a year or so at the SORBA CSRA 13 hr race. With all the rain we had the night before the trail was in great shape. I was impressed with the work that has been done. I agree with a lower post about riding the hill at the parking lot all the way up to the road as a start/finish point. The parking lot ruins a great climb/downhill. Not a far drive from greenwood, so we may be putting this on the rotation of trails. Personally, I think I like it better than HKSP; unless we get that connector done near the shooting range, then that place will be the bomb.
