You have this trail listed as being in Pineville My home town, PINEWOOD, is the town name you seek. There is no PineVILLE in that area. Wedgefield is closer though

Summary:
My buddy talked me into going back here last weekend (4/14/07) and it was much improved. Sand was minimal, trail was simple to follow due to great signage, and we had a lot of fun. We did the 9+ mile killer 3 loop - it is quite tight and rooty in numerous sections - but still fun. Also 2 other trails were added since I was there last - either that or they just marked them better with signs. Might give them a try next time...

Recommended Route:
only one route pretty much

Summary:
Look, this is a nice trail at the beginning...but then about 2 or 3 miles into it, out of nowhere there is soft sand waiting for you every 200 yards that completely stops you. We would be flying down a fun, whoopdeedo section and at the bottom of the stretch is 3 inch deep soft sand that kills all momentem... either that or it throws you off your back as your front tire dives off in the sand. So overall I (and my friend strongly agrees) would say this trail is bad. With out all the soft sand it would be fine...but then again most of the final 2/3 of the trial is soft sand. Do not recommend/ Wont be returning.
