Weekend Warrior Summary: I'm down from va working LOL. Rode the trail twiced so far and man I love it. I could go there every day it's got everything fast, slow, long fire roads uphills and the pucker factor along ridge with bank going down to the lake. but that's what it's all about. If you go remember that you start at the top of the hill. the downhills are fun but you do have to come back up to the top.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Awesome network of trails! Single track, dirt roads, a little climbing, roots, rocks, screaming downhills, even a dual slalom course! There are so many trails all over this place that you need a map or a local to show you around, I think Sunshine Cycles in Clemson has pretty good maps. I have been riding here for probably 8 or 10 years & I have to say this is probably my favorite place in the area to ride! You can get 4 + hours in and really not ride the same trails twice. Recommended Route: Really all of, but the lake loop has to be the highlight! Other recommended trails in the same area: Bent Creek, Tsali, Conyers INTL Horse Park, Gainesville, GA.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Great ride, so many trails to choose from. Only negative I have is the horses on the trail.
Here is a link to the local clubs web site, there are some very good maps of the trails here. http://www.gcmbc.com/main.html Recommended Route: You got to do the Issaqueena Dam Trail. Beautiful views, and a fun ride. From the trail head take a right, follow the trail downhill, lots of fun jumps, rocks, and roots. When you come to a trail marker, I like to take the Lawerence Trail to the Dam Trail. For a change of pace and to hit several jumps from the entrance go to the left parrell to the fireroad, called Collarbone. Other recommended trails in the same area: Paris Mountain

Cross Country Rider Summary: Awesome area to ride bikes. GO RIDE HERE! Great trails. Recommended Route: I was just out riding, making split second decisions at every intersection and just hoping I'd find the car after 2-4 hours! But I think I parked in the main parking lot, managed to make it to the Lake Trail and eventually to the Dam. Headed up the gravel road, cut left into some ST that led me to the car, eventually. Other recommended trails in the same area: Pisgah is not too far.
