Summary:
A great 8 mile trail around Watchhaug pond. Some parts get technical. There are a lot of parts you can get good speed on. Other areas are mud and rock. Be perpared for the flies, a lot of the land around the trail is marsh.

Recommended Route:
From RT-1 go onto Prosser Trail and park at Burlingame Picnic Area ( not camping area). Follow the yellow marker trail in either direction. Its a 5 minute ride to the real rough terrain in either direction.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
There are many trails that fork off from the yellow marker trail you can take. I live on the same lake the trail is on and still havent been on all the trails.

Summary:
Great trails if you happen to be camping there and you ride a Mongoose from Sports Authority. Kinda like riding a bike path, only with more bugs.

Recommended Route:
Drive right on by and find somewhere better, riding Burlingame is not mountain biking. There's 1 uphill and 2 tech sections, the only reason to come here is if your taking your girlfriend/wife Mtn biking for the 1st time.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Take the 20 minute trip down Rte2/112 and head out to Arcadia.

Summary:
Ten mile loop around Watchaug Pond. Starting from Kings Factory Road and going CCW, single track is nice going with just enough technical stuff for me (intermediate). Rocks, roots, stream crossings. 2nd half of trail has some road riding. Trail markers are real good at 1st, but get harder to find about 3/4 of the way around.

Recommended Route:
If you want a trail map, go to the Burlingame Park Ranger station. Yellow dot trail, go fast, turn left (just like NASCAR)
