Summary:
Promise Land State Park is a nice place to ride, there is something for everyone. The trail system extends into the Delaware State Forest with multiple loops. Easier riding is found around the main lake, take the road it loops all the way around. The more difficult riding is found in the Delaware State Forest. Make sure to pick up a trail map at the park office, easily 20+ miles of ridable trails. The map shows a bicycle icon on the "mountain bike" trails but you can really ride most of the snowmobile and horse trails also. The trails have markers at almost every trail intersection which is very useful. You really need to go a few times before you come familiar with all the trails. Moderate climbs, fast downhills and some technical sections can all be found if you know what trails to take.

Recommended Route:
I usually park near the main lake, starting at trail marker 94. From there just follow the trails on the map.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Glen Park, Big Pocono (Camelback)
