All kinds of trails here - ride it, you won't be sorry. Tons of information available on the web about this destination; I am not going to be a spoiler and give it up in the event you would like to visit for the 1st time and make it a bit of an adventure.

Moon Lake park is currently partially closed; it is open to mountain bikers and a few other groups. If you like the park, it would not hurt to write the local government and tell them to keep it open. It really is a gem!

Summary:
Very cool trails, nice large signage to let you know where you are. We had a printed map, but the flow was easy enough to follow around the lake.
Met some locals who were very nice and told us al about the place. They ride every week all year long. They were stoked we came in from Long Island to check out their stash.
So 2 buddies and I ride there this April and we get caught in a wicked thunderstorm. LIGHTNING everywhere, and the rain was ridiculous. We thought we could beat the storm, but we were WRONG, and almost Dead wrong at that. Luckily, we made it to cover to wait it out - thank goodness this place had some by the lake. Made for a sick afternoon though. Can't wait to go back and ride it again.
Oh and we're bringing fishing gear next time. They were jumping so high out of the lake that evening after the storm, all you needed was a net to catch 'em!

Recommended Route:
either way around the lake is fun.

Summary:
Rode some trails at Moon Lake today. This place is the best around. Many trails for each level of experience. You will not be bored by the trails here. If you can not decide whether Moon Lake or Frances Slocum, Moon Lake is much better! This place will definitely become a regular place for me. Technical difficulty all depends on the trail you take. From what I rode, Decon I believe its called, was the most technical. Great place!

Recommended Route:
I was just riding not really picking a specific route.

Recommended Route:
I was just a follower so I have no idea the trails we were on.
