Summary:
This is one of my two go to trails (Harmony Hill being the second)
The east side of the damn will be muddy for at least 24 hours after a good rain. The west side is more foregiving.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Harmony Hill

Summary:
I work 5 minutes from Marsh Creek so I ride here maybe 3 times a week. There are two sides to the park, the east and the west. The west side has all the trails so don't even bother with the other side of the lake.

So looking at the lake from the west side of the lake, there are trails to your left and to your right. Lots of tight single track, curvy at points. Some stream crossings, rock gardens, tree roots and wood piles.I would consider to the right a little bit more of a technical ride and to the left would be more hills and open fields to ride in. I usually do a loop to the right and finish off with a ride to the left. Total time is about 2 hours. When it rains you will get muddy. Enjoy this awesome park.

Recommended Route:
Once to the right, once to the left. Explore and don't get lost.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
French Creek
Harmony Hills

Summary:
Road the Blue Square route on the west side of the lake. A couple of tugg uphills with rocks but its worth it when you get to fly down the mountain. A lot of hikers and horses but all in all a nice trail.

Recommended Route:
stated at West boat launch and took the blue loop

Summary:
Nice set of single track trails with a good amount of obstacles. Tends to get overgrown sometimes with a lot of poison ivy. Roots and a few rock gardens are among some of the features. Switch backs and log overs are plentiful. Almost all the trails are in the shade but just incase there is a rope swing halfway threw the bonus loop (past the dam) to cool off. I see several single speeders out their but to me its challenging with gears. Keep an eye out for hikers for the first 2 mi heading towards the dam. I recommend a drive up to 1.5 hours if you haven't ridden it already. If the 13 miles of riding isn't enough for you french creek and Harmony hill are close by.

French Creek Harmony Hill

Summary:
I tend to ride Blue Marsh alot, and have been up to Mt Penn alot this year also - to me, Marsh Creek is somewhere in between them. A few of us raced the night race earlier in the summer, and that was a blast. Some logs, some streams, plenty of twisties - just great XC riding. Every time I ride here, I have a great time!!!
