Summary:
Nice little single track in between 76 and the river. Other reviewers warned of drunk fishermen, lots of trash and a rank smells. I encountered none of these. I live in Manayunk and I rode from my house at the top of the hill to the end of the trail and back in about an hour. Great for a quick ride in your spare time.

Recommended Route:
Trail entrance is about 100 feet up the 76 West on ramp on the right coming from the Green Lane Bridge.

Summary:
WOW! I'm not to sure how to rate this trail. I figured i go try it out b/c of the ratings i've seen. As far as good practice for spinning over loose rocks and through sand, there not too much to this trail thats super fantastic, but its a cool way to get through to gladwyn off the streets. Its a bit shady as well, i'd ride with a buddy here (riding solo seems like a good way to get jumped). Some advice maybe, don't ride here when its really hot in the summer, it stinks like dead fish (or maybe there bodies) really bad!

Recommended Route:
Its pretty straight forward, but it'll be a two shower day when you get done.

Summary:
This trail is usable only certain times of year because it gets overgrown in the late spring and fall. This trail is littered with trash that has come off the expressway and it is sketchy...BUT...it connects two good places to ride, Gladwyne and Wissahickon. Gladwyne used to be ripe with trails, that is no longer the case but there are still some great downhills and climbs (locals only bro'). I just did a great ride from Gladwyne to Wissahickon through Manayunk and back. Who would have ever thought you could come up with an epic ride like that, all thanks to the trail you are reading about. Not all of the ride was on trail and not all of the trail was "primo" (San Juan Capistrano) but a lot WAS and this IS a damn good ride all things considered. To those who have reviewed Gladwyne as a lame place to ride, thank you! Don't ride here, and by the way we have been riding these trails for twenty years on everything from bmx bikes to 80cc two strokes. We have seen a lot of trails (including a race course we built) dissappear...but we still know the good stuff and we don't want you to know so don't come lookin'.
Philadelphia has great riding within the city and within an hour of the city. Always worth the trip!

Recommended Route:
bunny hop the corpses and share the trail with the fishermen

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Wissahickon, French Creek

Summary:
This trail is too sweet, I don't know why anybody would give it a negative review. What more could you ask for? You ride right next to the river, it has some great technical stream crossings, some tough rocky sections. The views can't be beat. Stop for a swim, bring a picnic, this trail has it all!

Recommended Route:
There is only one route, out and back

Summary:
This is the only way to get from Gladwyne to Manayunk without getting killed on the road (from there you can pick up the Valley Forge-Philly bike path). I thought I was the only one riding this abandon single track. Kind of creepy riding this trail solo; you never know what you will encounter. Not very technical at all.

Recommended Route:
Enter trail at the end of River Rd. or from the on ramp to 76 West.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Gladwyne horse trails (if you can find them)
