Ridden Trail: Once a year

Cross Country Rider Summary: Besides the BMX jumps, there's also a few short trails that may or may not still be rideable. It's not really worth going up there unless you ride BMX and want to scout it out... Or you live on Greeley Street (which I don't anymore). Some people ride dirt bikes an ATV's up there, as well, but I don't know why. Kids party on the plateau at night, too, so if you're scared of inner-city kids stay out of there at night. Oh, and it's a fairly popular place for people to dump stolen cars and dead bodies. Recommended Route: On the Plateau, looking at the city, the trailhead is on your far left. Go up past a playground all the way to Arlington Ave. Go up the road to the fire hall and look for a trailhead behind it. Bomb back down to the plateau and wish you were good enough to do the dirt jumps. Don't fall off the cliff like Drunk Paul once did. Other recommended trails in the same area: Ride the bike path to Homestead, cross the bridge and go ride Frick.
