Summary:
So awesome it's really just a great trial. It IS getting washed out, but NOT because of bikers and the trails they build.....stop throwing sticks and logs on the trail we just move them and we built a drop over one. We were rising the other day and some idiots on trail dirtbikes ripped past us, we could see their ruts for the rest of the day. Bottom line--its them not us, we love High rocks

Summary:
Just recently had the opportunity to ride this trail for the first time and fell in love with it right away. Not only does it offer trail types for all skill levels, but also offers a very scenic and euphoric type atmosphere. With views that look out over a large endless canyon and down onto the white water of the Tohickon Creek, the steep descents that offer some extreme down-hilling, and trails that run through an endless array of clear-cut trees, this is definitely a must for the avid rider. The trail offers heavy root / rock sections and some steep hill climbs and descents as well. You can definitely tell that rains have plagued the trail a bit, and to follow up on the previous review, please mind the trail and its overall well being, but it does offer some significant challenges now because of this, which makes for some fun. The trails also offer some great hiking and rock climbing. Highly recommended for any.

Recommended Route:
Not sure of the trail names or if they have any, but I parked at the lot off of Tory Rd., headed to the left and followed the trail with yellow markers (you can stray off of this trail a bit on the Labyrinth of other trails, most go to the same spot), coming up to the camping site. Go through the site and to the far lot where you will have to look for the red marked trail, which should be off to your right. The red trail offers a great down-hill section before you begin your climb back to the top. One hell of a workout, but also one hell of a ride.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Only other trails that I have been to are Green Lane (park at Marlborough Elementary School and pick up the trail from there) and South Mountain trails. Both recommended, but Green Lane above the other if you have to choose.

Summary:
High Rocks is possibly the best place to ride in Bucks County, unfortunatly it is getting riden to death. The wash-out is getting worse and worse by each storm. So please if you ride here be aware of the conditions and DO NOT ride when its wet. We as mountain bikers need to be ambasadors for our sport and try and preserve the trails. PA is currently revising its rules about riding in state parks (High Rocks is a state park) so we need to be on our best behaviour. There are rumors that another local state park is going to open its doors to mountain bikes with the possibility of over 30 miles of riding. Any way I digress, ride responsably and we all can the trails for years to come. Sorry for any misspellings, Long Hammer IPA will get ya!

Summary:
well i love to ride high rock. i usually park in the little park parking lot. than i work my way through the camp ground (keep your eyes open in there) (a few fallen trees to ride) at the end of the campground starts the trail. some fun downhill. and a few uphills. i concider that whole section my warm up. no drops or anything.

after im on the trail for a while, it merges with the lower trail (where you have to go right) once you go right you will cross a little rock / log - once past that - look left, your first little drop. a good warmup.

than keep going on that trail and you will see and nice rock drop

so anyway, thre are like 4 other drops there. just look around. i found everything myself.

and make sure you go across the road. very nice drops over there.
