Depending on the trails you follow (I was following the Red Blazes to about halfway up, then switched over to light blue). Heading up, there is a solid 1/2 mile of trails. In my single speed, it was brutal (had to get off a few times). The nice part about these trails, is even if you get lost, roads run nearby. In fact, you will cross the occasional one, on your way to the top. Quite a bit of rocks, but pretty well kept up. Depending on which side you start (I started by Antietam Lake), you will see a variety of riders (even on the weekdays). A great downhill, full suspension bike would be awesome on both sides.
