Weekend Warrior Summary: We ride the Yough River Trail a few times a week to keep in shape for single track on the weekends. The Cedar Creek Park area is a nice break from the gravel trails. The Gorge Trail is approx 3/4 mile long and is wide, gentle beginners single track. Near the end of the trail are two large fallen trees and a rocky stream crossing. That's as technical as it gets :) Lots of other trails shoot off and loop around along the creek. A nice change of pace for a mile or so before returning to the YRT to finish your ride. I checked with the bike rental/concessions in the park, MTB'ing is allowed on these trails. Recommended Route: We like to park at the West Newton trail head, ride 4 miles to Cedar Creek, run the Gorge Trail and other off shoots, then return back to West Newton. 9-10 miles depending how many trails you ride off the Gorge Trail.
