, from mechanicsburg Summary: This trail we use to call it "Balloon string" . We spent alot of time cutting this one in since it drops you down to the creek area. This trail is great for a full suspension trail and has a few 2' drop offs.
One section has a "bowl" drop off, which use to be the Luke road in early 1900's. Keep an eye open for rattlesnakes in july, and august because they are very common on this trail. We have one good technical section that crosses a creek with a rock ledge (we try to rock crib this section) that will give you a challenge. Recommended Route: Riding either direction is blast. I park out in the parking lot area at the start of lukes road and ride both direction on my ride. Other recommended trails in the same area: Rattle creek trail, fawn kill, Wolf pond, dry run, rugged, and rock's ridge.
