sdj's clark rd trail

freakin' fast, in-your-face, non-stop, single-track, with some sick downhills, and nasty climbs...it's all fast and it's all sweet, there's some kickin' technical stuff after about 2 miles into it...it completely rules. oh yeah, props to steve's uncle peanut for making this sweet network of trails!!!
Hop on I-90, get off at Harborcreek exit heading south, after about 1 mile, turn right on clark rd.(hence the name "clark rd. trail"), go about 200 yards until you come to a big field on your left, turn left into the dirt road/path by the telephone pole, go to the end of that little path where there's a clearing by the tree-line, you'll see two trail-heads, either way you go, you can't lose...the one on the left takes you down a screamin' downhill section to some dirtbike trails, the one on the right starts you off on so pretty nasty down hill stuff, and lands you in some super rad fast single-track.
Summary: The best trails in the Erie area. Nothing comes close. Difficult after a rain. Slick and fast down hills and single tracks.
Recommended Route: Any
Other recommended trails in the same area: Asbury Woods but it keeps getting smaller and more developed

Summary: Like I said in my review of Wintergreen gorge, this is for downhill enthusiasts only in my opinion. I like a nice balance of everything; creek crossings, fast straight aways, hillclilmbs, jumps. I tried going to the right and got quite a ways down and is very rutted and technical, went to the left and thought it was pretty boring. Just alot of mud along the creek.

Summary: Speed is the name of the game. The faster you go, the more reckless you become and the more fun you have. The rad declines that end with small hills make for wicked air. (don't let go of bike) Options include: staying on the vast network of trails or flying down the creek at dangerous velocity. Must try firemans trail under I-90 bridge.
