, from Scranton Summary: I love this Trail, I can ride there from my house and I ride it at least 3 times a week. It Can be Rocky, Sandy, Muddy, In some places Rooty. The whole thing is under 15 miles. There is a nice uphill on your way to the lake Scranton. BRING TUBES(If you don't need them someone may!!! OH YEAH...ROPE SWINGS AT THE RESEVOIR!!! E-Mail me to Ride amj146@psu.edu Recommended Route: This is an awesome trail that can take you to Lake Scranton, Rocky Glen, Montage Mountain, etc... TO LAKE SCRANTON : If you park on East mountain follow the trail strait until you get to the big stream. (follow this upstream to get to Montage and Lake Scranton) Don't walk in the water, Carry your bike up to the train tracks that go over the stream and you will see a path that goes strait up the mountain about 25 feet. When you get to the top, follow the path to your right. If you go strait on this path you will pass the resevour, Montage and run right into Lake Scranton. You are not supposed to ride around the lake ,although it is fun. So turn left and then take your next left away from the lake. This will Drop you out at East Mountain Estates at the Top of East Mountain Road. Cruise downhill till you get to your car. Other recommended trails in the same area: Come on...there are tons.
