Ridden Trail: Every few months

Cross Country Rider Summary: I ride this trail mainly when I visit family in the area. If I lived here I'd probably ride elsewhere most of the time.
It's very rocky and very hard on bike parts. It's a worthwhile ride if you into a bit of pain, but beginners should steer clear of most of the trails here or they may be discouraged.
It would help if you rode this area on a full suspension rig. I ride a hardtail here but wouldn't reccommend it.
The place is severly well marked and there is not much singletrack that I could find. Others may be poaching the hiking only trails and calling them singletrack.
Check for photos, I'm going to post a few.

, from Flemington, NJ Summary: Do you like riding on rocks...well then this is the trail for you!!! It was hard to find a trail that didnt have rocks. I wouldnt even ride a four-wheeler here. The only rideable trail was the access road. Ride the access road out of the parking lot, to the left and up, and up, and up hill to the look out tower. It is the highest point in the county. Climb the eighty foot look out tower for a great view... Dont go out of your way to ride this trail! Recommended Route: Take I-80 to blakeslee, Jack Frost/Big Boulder Exit. Take 115-S past Pocono Raceway. The Park is on the right about 1-1.5 miles down the road.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Ride the gamelands behind Camelback instead...there are rocks there but the trail is cool. Stop by The Loft on the way to get a free map (you'll need it). Its a better mix of trails.

, from HAMPTON, NJ Summary: TRAILS ARE WELL MARKED (PROBABLY THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN), AND ARE VERY ROCKY IN SOME AREAS. HOWEVER, THE DIVERSITY IN TERRAIN MAKE THIS PLACE A LOT OF FUN TO RIDE, JUST WATCH OUT FOR THE LARGE MUD PUDDLES. AS YOU START OUT THERE IS A FUN CLIMB THAT GETS YOU WARMED UP FOR THREE SEMI-TECHNICAL DOWNHILLS, THEN THE TRAIL EVENS OUT FOR A BIT WITH SOME FUN UPS AND DOWNS. TERRAIN CHANGES FROM ROCK TO DIRT TO GRASS TO SAND FREQUENTLY. THE FINAL CLIMB UP JACK'S ROAD TO THE FIRE TOWER IS A LUNG BUSTER! IF YOU GET A CHANCE, CLIMB THE FIRE TOWER. AFTER THAT, MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE ATV TRAIL BACK DOWN TO THE PARKING AREA...IT'S THE LONGEST AND MOST CHALLENGING DOWNHILL IN THE PARK. Recommended Route: ROUTE 80 TO BLAKESLEE EXIT (SAME EXIT AS JACK FROST / BIG BOULDER SKI RESORT), GO SOUTH ON ROUTE 115 FOR APPROXIMATELY 5 MILES (PAST POCONO SPEEDWAY ON THE LEFT), POHOPOCO STATE PARK SIGN IS ON THE RIGHT. FOLLOW ACCESS ROAD IN FOR 1/10TH OF A MILE AND TURN LEFT INTO PARKING LOT. BEST TRAIL HEAD IS NEAR THE YELLOW GATE ON THE DOWN HILL SIDE OF THE PARKING LOT BY THE BOULDERS. Other recommended trails in the same area: BIG POCONO STATE PARK, NEAR CAMELBACK SKI AREA (ONLY 10 MINUTES AWAY FROM POHOPOCO).

, from NJ Summary: THink park has some real nice trails, and some real bad ones too, I have a sportsman 500 and it has great suspension, but the rocky trails were a pain. The fast track parts of the trail were great. Recommended Route: RT 80 to Blakeslee exit, go about 5 miles on 115, from 80, make right into parking lot South approximately 1.2 miles south of the Pocono Speedway

, from Carlisle PA Summary: Great area for a morning ride or a longer intensity daytrip. Pohopoco abuts state game lands and the area is absolutely honeycombed with ATV, snowmobile, hiking, and biking trails... not to mention numerous fire roads. Afer leaving the parking area I didn't see a soul for four hours. There are several points of interest to ride to such as the Dilldown Boulder Field (really COOL!). Various trails allow for a rider to custom tailor a route based on preference and skill level (e.g., if you have to bring the not-so-expertienced girlfriend or significant other along). Recommended Route: On the right side of route 115 South approximately 1.2 miles south of the Pocono Speedway Other recommended trails in the same area: Jim Thorpe... but c'mon. That's the mecca of Eastern PA mtn biking.
