Ridden Trail: Once a month

Weekend Warrior Summary: Used to ride this trail constantly.
Unfortunately because of the state wide ban of mountain biking on PA state game lands, the game commission is waiting in their jeeps and itching to give you a hard time. Wait until the evenings to ride and you should be ok. Contact your local bike club to see what you can do about this ridiculous law.

, from Mountain Top, Pa Summary: Narrow fire road that meanders slightly uphill for about the first mile...then...a long downhill...maybe 2 miles that ends up at the bottom of the mountain near a small swamp/pond. Theta Corp. Signs for sale everywhere. Take dirt road at bottom of hill , it eventually turns into a paved road that intersects Nuangola Road. Suggest taking a left and making a loop back along Nuangola road until you hit the power line. Take a left and you will intersect the trail you started on. Take a right to get back to your starting point. Downhill is fast and fun! Recommended Route: Took the middle route this time.

, from Mountaintop Summary: The trail is simply awesome. The trail starts out with a climb thats really loose and steep and hard to make. Once at the top look for a single track path going to the right near the rocks. The trail is pretty intense with lots of steep cool stuff. Once at the bottom u hit a double track cross the road and you hit some more amazing single track. Then its all a nice climb back up the mountain. Anyone wanna ride it email me at orloskif2@uofs.edu. This trail is really technical so if ur not that experienced i wouldnt reccomend riding it. Recommended Route: There are so many different routes the ones from Wilkes Barre are the same as i would give anyone. Other recommended trails in the same area: The whole crystal lake area although they have been timbering a lot so u have to knwo the trails pretty good to ride some single track. Im also looking for people to ride with in the scranton area...

, from scranton, PA Summary: fun ride, technical, steep hills and plenty of single track if you know where to look. e mail me if ya ever want to go riding. Recommended Route: From the parking lot, there are 3 trails, go down the middle, take the first single track on your right, it will bring you to the trail that was on the left. take it all the way to the pole lines and head uphill. its a long climb and is all rocks, but it will bring you to the absolute top of the mountain. ride down the steepest hill you see, there is a tight single track going down it. at the bottom follow it through more singletrack and it will bring you to "dead deer run"(take a wiff at the bottom and you'll know why its called that). its porobably the steepest trail i've seen around here. take a right at the bottom, and in liek 25 feet you'll cross over a wider trail but stay on the single track, it will be a nice fast rocky technical section. make sure you have tubes! eventually it will end up on a wider road which will bring you back to the pole lines.

, from Mountain Top, Pa, USA Summary: Fire road for approx. 3 miles. Then.... single track when you get to the overlook of the Wyoming Valley with I 81 directly below you. The single track presented very tough climbs and decents. Loose rocks the size of volley balls in some sections. The fire road section can be ridden by anybody. The single track is for more advanced riders. Recommended Route: Take the road Directly across from the Broadway on Rt. 309 in Mountain Top. At bottom of hill bear right and you will come upon 3 choices. We picked the route that was the farthest to the right with the yellow gate. Other recommended trails in the same area: Crystal Lake
