Trail Directions
Off the Wertzville exit on I-81, go west until Lambs Gap road on the right. Go to the top and turn left onto a dirt road called Idle Rd. At the top of that road there is a parking lot park there. Now, Get on your bike a go around the corner like your still driving. About 200-300 ft. There is a right hand turn up a steep little path go on this trail for 1-2 miles and at the top of that trail (mountain) there is a steep right hand drop. That's the trail at the bottom turn right and you'll come out at Idle Rd go right up the hill.

Summary:
this trail is very quick and fast. Just go down and lean hard on the turns don't even think about tapping your brakes. This trail is boring. Look at Lambs Gap is GREAT singletrak and it's fast. Plus if you crash do don't keep rolling down the hill like neckbreaker which I have done many times. So check out LambsGap.

Summary:
Neckbreaker is a fun and scarry trail. Heed the warning from Tgarnet, there are too many decant trails at risk of losing for the 60 seconds of thrill that this trail offers. spend your time on the plentiful single track in the rest of the game lands. My rating below is representative of the use of neckbreaker and not of the rest of the trails in the area. Lambs Gap get a five!

Ridden Trail:
Every few months

Reviewed by: T Garland , from Carlisle, PA

Summary:
This trail was extremely poorly laid out. It goes straight down hill and seems to be designed to erode. Skidding is pretty much unavoidable. Remember, this is State Game Lands paid for by hunters, not tax payers in general. The Game Commission can close Lamb's Gap to mountain biking any time it wants. If the trail does erode badly enough, mountain bikers will be blamed and the area will be closed. This has already happened in the Game Lands in the Mt. Gretna area. Avoid this trail.

Recommended Route:
For the greater good of mountain biking in the area, stay off this trail.
