Cross Country Rider Summary: The MaryD trails offer a lot of miles and great scenery, despite the wasteland of the abandoned strip mine. I rode both the trails good review described, moderately challenging singletrack and they led me to an endless power line trail strewn with 5-10 inch rocks. I saw no one for 4-5 hours, as no one else would visit this small place, unless they have friends or family there. Its worth the trip is you are in town, and the Tamaqua Bungalow trails are about 7-8 miles away.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Do not go to ride this trail unless you want to waste your time!!! It is a gross coal mining area... Some places in this region in PA are nice for riding bikes but this is not one of them. Climbs are too steep to ride up and peoples houses are often in the way. Weird, annoying and pointless Recommended Route: don't go! Other recommended trails in the same area: kaska's better
