Weekend Warrior Summary: One of my favorite trails in the area. Rocks, roots, logs, scenery, it's got it all. For some good maps of the trails and loops, check this site http://www.cyclesa.com/offroad/tourinfo.php?region=3&tourId=23 Recommended Route: I like Mainline to Loop Trail, run a few combo's of Lippo's Loop & Towhee then down Towhee to Summit Rd. A few hundred yards back up Summit Rd. to Spruce Run Trail back up to Towhee, right turn on Bill Albert's Trail back downhill to Mainline and the parking lot.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Tough and Technical, especially suited to longer travel rigs, however, an accomplished Cyclovore can pick his line and foil those rock-gardens. Lots of muscle ripping vertical and log jams. This place is usually not my "cup of tea", but it makes for a good change of pace, plus it sharpens your skills and builds your strength. Recommended Route: The whole mountain has a complex system of hubs and spurs. Most trails are named marked and mapped. To myself, thats not really what I want in a ride, but I guess it is necessary for the less adventerous of our ranks. Other recommended trails in the same area: West Branch Basin. Not a trail but a location. My location, this is the best around here.
