Ridden Trail: Once a month

Reviewed by: Zerbe
, from Bernville Summary: It's awesome, well worth it for only maybe a half hour ride. Log jumps, really tight narrow singletrack, rock gardens, off camber ridge sides, and switchbacks. Ever need a trail guide, just email me at zerbe@dirtydurxracing.com or visit my website www.dirtydurxracing.com Recommended Route: the road to the top is skyline drive, turn at McDonalds on Rt. 15. Take to the top till the road doesnt seem to climb anymore and there is a parking lot on the left. You'll have to leave one car at the bottom. Take the gated off paved road till you see radio shack #3316 and a small pile of stones and a white arrow on the left. Take the trail down and cross the stream at the bottom to get to the road. Other recommended trails in the same area: Butternut Grove, Water Reservoir, Danville

Ridden Trail: Once a week

, from Pittsburgh, PA Summary: I am a student at Penn Tech. in Williamsport. I have been riding the area trails for 2.5 years. The goat trail from what I know it as is a rough trail. Over the few years of constent riding and trail erosion has exposed jaggered rocks on the switchback filled single track. There are many logs to bunny hop, and cliffs to fall off. Use your junk rear rim the first few rides because your going to bend it all to hell. If your looking for a quick ride tech. downhill the Goat is the ticket. But dont let him bite you. Oh yeah, warning, if you deciede to go in the early spring there will be snow at the top of the trail to make for a crazy ride. enjoy Recommended Route: In South Williamsport take 554 to the top of the mountain, make left go a few miles til you see the painted white arrow in the street, which is infront the begining of the path. Other recommended trails in the same area: Williamsport Water Authority is a great close place to go and ride in Williamsport.

, from Lemont,PA Summary: If it's the trail I'm thinking of.. lower your seat to protect yourself and have fun! Only for advanced riders seeking challenging terrain. Do not introduce your new girlfriend to mountain biking here... save that for the fire roads. Recommended Route: I am just writing to question the directions given. As route 522 I believe is incorrect having been a s. williamsport native. I believe the route is 554. Other recommended trails in the same area: Tons of trails to ride. Explore the Williamsport area water authority which is now open to the public. At the top of route 554 look for the trail to the right(Van Dike road) Follow that out about .75-1.25 miles and look for trail off to the right. It is a great technical singletrack with a stream crossing. Left at the bottom will take you to mosquito valley.. eventually. Go right and you can come back out on sulphur springs road(554). Straight and you might upset a local property owner.
