Ridden Trail: Every few months

Weekend Warrior Summary: Okay, I live right across the road from these trails and I almost never ride them. I only ride them to tune my bike. Most of the park is closed to bikes. There is a small network of trails that is open to bikes but is also the most popular for people walking dogs without leashes. So overall,.. if you could do the whole loop it might be worth it. What is open is too well manicured. There aren't any serious hills. If you're going to the park for the day, maybe take your bike and check things out.
Recommended Route: Doesn't matter,..its a small network. More advanced riders,...leave and go some place else...nothing technical here. Other recommended trails in the same area: Rocky Ridge, Lake Redman, and if you feel like a bit of a drive..French Creek (it's worth it).

, from New Cumberland Summary: Yea, they tend to close trails when it's muddy, but when it's open it has a lot to offer: a mix of easy to difficult trails. It's not too hilly and not too flat. Most trails are single track--some rocky, some not. make sure to get a map which will tell ya what's out there. Get directions: http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/giff.htm Recommended Route: Lakeside Trail--scenic 8.5 mile trail around Pinchot Lake...can connect you to others if you don't want to commit to going around the lake. Other recommended trails in the same area: Pinchot Trail has some awesome challenges, especially if you loop up to Straight Hill--break a sweat for me ;)

, from Lancaster PA Summary: Me and some of my riding budddies headed out here for a quick afternoon ride. We rode about half the loop...which was extreamly muddy with no technical sections...and then stopped at a ranger station for a map, only to find out that this area has been closed to Mt. Bikes on all but a 2 mile paved stretch...can you say SUCK?
