Cross Country Rider Summary: This trail is only alright. It's super short and usually in really bad shape, mostly from neglect (rotted wooden 8x2's and exposed roots from the swamping that occurs). If they converted more of the swampy areas into terrain park ladders and jumps, this place would get a better rating from me. Other recommended trails in the same area: Betz

Cross Country Rider Summary: I love the five mile loop, but not for riding. The trails at Eavensburg are definetly more for hiking, they are pretty narrow and some areas are too difficult to navigate on a bike. Recommended Route: Take the five mile loop. Other recommended trails in the same area: The Perkiomen trail is great for distance, it's not very difficult, and its mostly paved.

Cross Country Rider Summary: I've ridden this trail for the second time over the past weekend and I think the other reviews portray it pretty accurately. The trail is comprised of a lot of roots and rocks with occasional downed trees. It's pretty hilly, so it gives a decent cardio workout, too. For me, it's a great track to hone my technical skills and just a flat out enjoyable ride. Both times I've ridden the trail it's been pretty muddy, and it's obvious that parts of the route are always wet. Given all the elements (hills, roots, rocks, wet/dry) it makes a nice and varied challenge for the beginning to intermediate level rider. Recommended Route: Pick a trail, you can't go wrong.

, from Collegeville, PA Summary: This short XC loop in Evansburg State Park has all of the attributes of big mountain eastern singletrack - short steeps, rocky terrain, logs - with fun slalom-like turns on the downhills. Not for the rails-to-trails crowd. This is a fun mid-week evening ride to keep the legs and lungs in shape for the big weekend rides. A good 1-1.5 hours of good riding if you take a couple of loops. Ride it hard or take it easy and enjoy the solitude of the woods. Well-removed from the hiker-only trails, so its relatively unknown and not over-used. Recommended Route: Previous reviews have nailed the route. Go up from the trail head and piece it together. You can't lose. Other recommended trails in the same area: French Creek, Wissahickon, Mt. Penn (Reading)

, from KoP Summary: This trail is comprised of two smaller loops. Both loops are very short, but will get the heart pumping and a lot of fun if biked in the right direction. Lots of fun stuff. Can add more mileage to the original loops by making a right after the stone wall and adds another fun, but short downhill and will lead to skippack creek. A nice down hill on a rocky road will follow. Make a left once at skippack creek and singletrack will appear. Explore! Only a 3 or four star due to how short it is.
Recommended Route: Climb to the top, then make a left on a side trail before the wood plank. Follow the loop and merge onto the second loop.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Betzwood Picnic Area (VF national Park)
