Lots of doubletrack up & down the ridges. Rugged singletrack with rocks, roots, logs. Pretty technical.

Summary:
One of the nicer set of trails in the Pittsburgh area. They have recently done a lot of work creating new trails and short loops. Many logs and other fun stuff, but hardly any rocks. Mostly single track with a couple killer downhills.

Recommended Route:
I usually ride from the A-frame up behind the the park. You can either ride the new section to the right, or across the mountain to the left. Once you get down to the road its a nasty uphill back to the truck.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Moraine, Heartwood Acres.

Summary:
Great fast singletrack with a few hairy descents (Descent of death off of wildwood trail is no joke). There are also some great man-made obsticles in the log loop area.

Recommended Route:
Overall the south side of the park is the best and should be ridden clockwise

Summary:
These are some of my all time favorite trails in PA. A little bit of everything (okay no big rocks, that's a bit of a downside) and there are NO hunters allowed. Though I haven't done it all in one run yet it's all ridable. A great place to get strong and keep up skills.

If I still lived in Pittsburgh I'd ride there every day, but as it is I only get to ride when I visit my folks.

Recommended Route:
I start at the playground and cross the creek to get in. I ride that trail until it comes out by the ice rink (great down hill at the end). Then I go back in behind the recycling facility. If I have time I run the log trail and come around through the network that takes me back to the other side of the playground. If I'm short on time I skip the log trail.

Summary:
What a great trail. A little bit of everything for everybody. Don't get me wrong, you better be ready to climb your tail off. Lots of single track, some fast, some have roots and rocks, and some have logs and ramps. It is being maintained really well and all users of the trail get along really well. It is definitely one of the better trail systems in western Pa. Enjoy.

Recommended Route:
Go to mtbpittburgh.com for directions or ask a local bike shop. Denali cycles in bridgewater, pa is a great one with weekly rides at brady's.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Brush Creek park is a fun one hour or less trail for a quick after work ride.

Summary:
Gentlemen, Are Yenz kidding me, I would never claim that Brady's is the most tech ride in the area however, there is no doubt Brady's Run will put a serious hurtin on your lungs if you ride it instead of walk it. I make one suggestion to new riders: if you don't like hills don't go!!

All kidding aside, Brady's does not have the log ramps of Hartwood, but there is plenty to bring a smile to your face. I feel that it's a great place to get your lungs screamin!! One last thing, I will shake the hand of any person who can climb the 1st hill on the 2nd 1/2 of the ride (the whole way to the top). I gave the track a 4 rating only because it make your lungs expand to new sizes

Recommended Route:
Great directions on www.mountainbikepittsburgh.com follow and enjoy.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Mingo Park, Bavington, North Park, Moraine, Hartwood, Frick
