Incredible views and huge potential with this trail. Nearly unrideable for part of the first half of the trail; anything with southern exposure is sketchy (steep, loose rocks, and not much of a trail), but some fun fast riding can be had when in the trees on the east slope. The trail gets really fast and fun when it drops down the east slope permanently around 1.5 miles in. Very technical, some serious rock gardens, and lots of branches to the face. Nothing but a huge grin to be had by the end! The trail ends on Dial Lane (hit 44mph on this gravel road--it's pretty fast), which runs into Hunter Road and back into town (~9 miles back to La Grande).
The whole trail could be amazing if someone put a little time into benching the top section, but this was the most challenging trail I've found in the area.
