The trail is accessed off of Alpine-Tire Mtn and is best ridden that way. The entire trail is singletrack that is fast and fun with only a couple of difficult switchbacks. This is a definate ride that can be elongated by either doing the entire top of Alpine trail including climbing up from the Red Bridge in Westfir.

Summary:
Fast flowy singletrack, minmal climb up from the Tire Mtn trail. Ends up on a forest service road (head right or downhill)that dumps you off on the North Shore Rd. and back to Westfir. This ride is one less travelled and much more interesting than the Alpine Trail.

Recommended Route:
From the Red Covered Bridge in Westfir, head out the Northshore trail to RD. 1910. Climb 1910 to Windy Pass (approximately 8 mile road climb). Once at Windy Pass, head left at the intersection to the Alpine Trail. Ride aproximately 1.2 miles down the Alpine Trail to the Tire Mtn trail. Ride Tire Mtn. approximatelyu 5 miles until the Cloverpatch Trail (easy to see the fork on left, signage is difficult). Climb up approximately 500' Cloverpatch is approximately 5 miles with only a couple of silly switchbacks otherwise very fun and a great loop. There is a fair amount of road riding, but is well worth the trip.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Alpine to Tire Mtn. to Winberry (very epic)
