Mosier Twin Tunnels Section - Historic Columbia River Parkway
1 reviews
2 of 5
Historic tunnels, viewpoints, scenery, photo ops, chance of death by rockfall, 2 miles of 5% downhill at one end. Fun for all ages. Scenic family ride.
This is the Mosier Twin Tunnels section of the Historic Columbia River Highway. It's about 5 miles of paved 16' blacktop tucked above the freeway down at the Columbia River below.
It starts at the Mark Hatfield West Visitor Center and Trailhead, climbs up to a bench, then climbs and descends to the historic Twin Tunnels. From there it descends to the Mark Hatfield East trailhead at the hamlet of Mosier, up the river about 5 miles.
