Trail Directions
From Pendleton, OR: Take Hwy 11 towards Milton-Freewater. Past Athena turn onto Hwy 204 towards Tollgate. Follow Hwy 204 to Andies Prairie Snow Park. The trail head is across the Hwy up a small dirt road. Take the first right and the trail begins on the right. From Walla Walla, WA: Take Hwy 125 towards Milton-Freewater. Turns into Hwy 11. Go through Milton-Freewater towards Pendleton. Turn onto Hwy 204. See directions above. From La Grande, OR: Take Hwy 82 to Elgin. In Elgin turn left onto Hwy 204 towards Tollgate. Look for Andies Prairie Snow park on the right. See directions above.

Summary:
This is a great trail for those who love pure cross country riding with fantastic views. This trail is open to mountain bikes, motorcycles, horses, and hikers so please be courtious.

Recommended Route:
Park at the Andies Prairie snow park and ride across the highway and up to the trail at the first right. If you want a short 10 mile ride take Summit Road to the other end of the trail and park a car there.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
South Fork of the Walla Walla River.
9 Mile Trail (Combine with Horseshoe prairie for a 15 mi. one way or 30 mi. out and back)
