North Crater Trail
1 reviews
 4 of 5

Single track downhill to north end of Diamond Lake and the lodge. Somewhat sandy, somewhat technical at speed. Alot of fun, running through the lodge pole pines and along the creek beds. Best one way, but can return by fire road uphill to trail head. There are close to 35 miles of fire roads and singletrack in the Diamond Lake area. Also a paved 14 mile loop around the lake for younguns.

Summary:
Great trail. Can run it up hill to the trailhead, or shuttle it and just race the down hill. Some sandy spots, and watch the drop offs into the creek.

Just find a trail a ride, you can get lost for hours.
