Weekend Warrior Summary: Despite what others say this is not an easy trail - nor is it much fun. If you come up the park st side it is a brutal climb with many bike and hike parts (including some steps - this is more for hiking than biking). The trail is also severely damaged in places with many ruts. Maybe its easier from the other side but with all the hikers I passed I would imagine it would be much fun coming down the narrow single track I came up with all the blind spots.
My advice if you are in the area is leave the bike behind and go whitewater rafting instead... Other recommended trails in the same area: none

, from Ashland Oregon Summary: Awesome view of Mt. Ashland and Emigrant lake. I was pretty gassed after the ascent from town, but it made the panorama and downhill all the more fun! Recommended Route: somewhere past milemarker 12 or so Tolman Creek road turns into a dirt road. Hopped onto an unidentified trail that had trees marked with a bunch of blue spray paint. Tons of switch backs and pretty challenging for a newbie like me! Eventually drops you back onto the Ashland Loop road where you connect with White Rabbit. Other recommended trails in the same area: Totally novice-worthy. If you're new to the sport like me, this is an excellent start!

, from Portland, OR Summary: Really fun trail, a lot of switchbacks and very rocky with a few small jumps. Beautiful view at the top where you can see all of Ashland from a bird's eye view. Other recommended trails in the same area: Check out all of the trails in the Ashland watershed while you're in the area, you can get a map at any of the Ashland bike shops on Siskiyou Blvd.
